Day 1: Arrival in Bagdogra Airport – Transfer to Darjeeling
Arrival: Bagdogra Airport Private transfer to Darjeeling (approx. 3-4 hours).
Check-in: Hotel check-in and rest.
Evening: Explore the Mall Road for a leisurely walk and enjoy local food.
Day 2: Darjeeling Sightseeing
Morning:
Tiger Hill Sunrise: Early morning visit to Tiger Hill for a stunning sunrise over Kanchenjunga.
Batasia Loop: Visit the Batasia Loop, a unique railway loop offering a panoramic view of Darjeeling and surrounding hills.
Post-breakfast:
Himalayan Mountaineering Institute: Explore the museum dedicated to mountaineering and adventure sports.
Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park: See rare species like the Red Panda and Himalayan wolf.
Tenzing Rock: Experience rock climbing, one of Darjeeling's famous landmarks.
Day 3: Darjeeling to Gangtok
Morning: Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Gangtok (approx. 4-5 hours by road).
Check-in: Hotel check-in and rest.
Evening: Explore MG Road in Gangtok for shopping, local handicrafts, and food.
Day 4: Gangtok Sightseeing
Tsomgo Lake: Visit this beautiful glacial lake surrounded by snow-capped peaks (don’t forget to check for the permit required).
Baba Mandir: Visit the revered Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, located near Tsomgo Lake.
Nathula Pass (Optional): If permits are available, visit the high-altitude Nathula Pass on the India-China border.
Day 5: Gangtok Sightseeing
Rumtek Monastery: Visit one of the largest and most significant monasteries in Sikkim.
Enchey Monastery: Explore this peaceful monastery offering great views of Gangtok and the surrounding mountains.
Do Drul Chorten: A prominent Buddhist stupa.
Flower Exhibition Centre: Visit to view the wide variety of local and exotic plants.
Day 6: Departure from Gangtok to Bagdogra Airport
Morning: After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
Transfer: Drive to Bagdogra Airport for your return journey.
